Run to coincide with the full moon lunar cycle, we'll be lighting up our swim course to light your way like beacons in the darkness. A spectacular event like no other, this unique, stimulating and visually surreal open water swim experience is one to remember and not to be missed!

Our Glow Swims are not a race - they are a relaxing, sensory night swim experience to feed the mind, body and soul so leave those stop watches at home and immerse yourself in the spectacle. Make Glow Swim your own by choosing between 140m, 330m and 550m and swim courses and number of laps.

Your entry includes full water safety cover, post-swim live entertainment and a delicious hot supper. Full event details will be emailed out to all participants a few days before the event.

IMPORTANT! As the water temperature has dropped faster than expected this year, the 750m loop will not be available. The buoys for the 750m loop have been removed from the lake. The max loop distance is now 550m although you may swim as many loops as you like!

After a post-swim change into warm clothing, join us on the quayside for a delicious culinary treat created by professional chef and Vobster swimmer Dagmar. As always, we'll be offering either a meat or vegan meal option - just select which you would prefer when you book. Choose from:

• Toulouse sausage shallot and potato cassoulet (GF)
• Vegetable, green lentil and bean cassoulet (Vegan/GF)

For those who fancy a cheeky tipple to accompany their supper, why not treat yourself to a drink from our unique Horsebox bar serving a range of soft and alcoholic drinks? Horsebox drinks are available as an optional extra so bring some spending money.

We'll then kick back and enjoy the smooth and enchating sound of live music from local accoustic trio The Midnight Tides, set against the tranquil backdrop of the lake. We'll also be 'firing up' our fabulous 'Heatwave' fire pit to provide a warm and welcoming glow to proceedings - the perfect spot to enjoy a cosy drink as you relax, chat and enjoy the live music.

Entry to this Glow Swim event is open to all - members and non-members alike. Bookings are accepted on a first come first served basis. Each participant must book their own place - you cannot book on behalf of friends.

Glow Swim is a unique and exhilarating swim experience that sees each and every swimmer contributing to a surreal firefly trail of brightly-coloured light around the lake. In order to achieve this, you must attach a swim light to your swim float or goggles strap to illuminate your position in the lake. What colour you choose is up to you - the more colourful the better!

As tempting as it may be to use chemical light sticks, we ask that you refrain from using them at Glow Swim. If you love the environment as much as we do, please join us in switching to a more eco-friendly glow light solution. We now offer a super-bright Swim light in the Vobster shop which offers the perfect ECO-FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVE. This funky little safety light puts out a super-bright glow that can be seen from over 5 kilometres away and, with its integrated caribiner, can quickly and easily be attached to your swim float.

IMPORTANT! Please note that all swimmers must have a swim light - it is your responsibility to ensure that you have a suitable waterproof light. We strongly recommend that you purchase your light before your arrival.
