JULY 19TH SITE PROCEDURE CHANGES
Inline with the UK Government's announcement of the relaxation of COVID safety measures on the 19th July, we'll be making some controlled and carefully-considered changes to our site procedures...
Thank you for all your visits over the spring and summer - it's been great to have you all back onsite and enjoying your favourite aquatic sports. Thank you also for all your compliance with measures that have kept us all safe.

The good news is that from the 19th July, those measures will be relaxing - here's how Vobster will implement the changes to keep us all working and enjoying activities at Vobster Quay.

Please remember that some divers, swimmers and staff may prefer to continue to use masks or social distance - please respect their wishes to maintain the relaxed atmosphere at Vobster.

Thanks

-- The Vobster Team
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Government says we can enjoy a little more freedom from July 19th - here's a guide to what's changing and what's not changing at Vobster Quay...
WHAT'S CHANGING
  • MASKS - You now no longer need to wear a mask in the shop for check in and out. We do take cash but still prefer card payment.
  • KIT HIRE - Diving kit hire at Vobster Quay is slowly returning, if you require any hire kit please email your requests through in advance to info@vobster.com. We cannot do hire without advance booking.
  • SWIM TIMETABLES - The new swim timetables will be available shortly - we are increasing the number of lifeguarded slots, but please check carefully when booking.
WHAT'S NOT CHANGING
  • ENTRY PROCEDURES - Members entry, bring a guest, prebooking and the segregated schools area will remain for 2021 and probably 2022. We have had lots of feedback about how much these have made life easier, so we will be keeping these in place.
  • DIVING SESSIONS - Split diving sessions on a Thursday to Sunday will stay until the end of October. From November, there will be a single session per day, seven days per week.
  • CHANGING ROOMS - Changing rooms and showers will remain shut. They will be far too moist and crowded during high season, even with a lower covid threat. Please continue to use the 'horsebox' change area and NOT the swim entry / exit or lakeside tables. We will re evaluate changing rooms at the end of October.
  • ONE WAY SYSTEM - One way systems will remain in place in the shop, swim entry / exit and catering van. Please continue to queue sensibly and give others space.
  • ENTRY REQUIREMENT - Entry to Vobster is still prohibited for children under 10, dogs and anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or with symptoms in their household.
