We currently have space for approximately fifty five vehicles in our bottom car park with an additional one hundred more in our top car park. Whilst we understand that our visitors wants to park their vehicle as close to the water as possible, we simply don't have the capacity to provide the close proximity to the water for everyone.

To make things as fair as possible for all our visitors, we employ a system of prioritisation. The system for visiting divers works like this...

• THE FIRST FIFTY FIVE
  The first fifty five diving members to book parking on a given day - either individually or via a school / club link – will get parking in the bottom car park allocated to their booking. You'll see this within our booking app as a '[PARKING]' flag next to the booking. If this flag is not there then all spaces have already been allocated - sorry! Booking a space as a member instead of part of a group booking will not increase your chances of being allocated a space.
• DIVE SCHOOLS & GROUPS
  Booked schools / groups get one space by their bench for a van. Additional instructors or divemasters will not get automatic parking in the bottom car park unless they are also members and spaces are still available.
• PARKING UPGRADES
  Any additional members beyond the 'early bird 55' appear on our list for potential upgrades when we open the gate - spaces can become available due to 'no shows', 'two in a car' or plain old Vobster car parking precision. Sadly we can't change the laws of physics, but we do try to avoid having to ask members to drop off their kit and park in the top car park. Sometimes though.... it's just that way.
• NON-MEMBERS
  Any remaining spaces get offered to non members on a first come first served basis.
• EVERYONE ELSE
  Everyone else will need to drop off their kit at the bottom of the ramp and then park in the top car park up the hill.

What's the best way to snag a parking spot in the bottom car park? Book early - especially for Saturday mornings!

PLEASE NOTE If you turn up in an oversized van carrying just one person, we might not be able to fit you into whatever spaces remain. Whilst we will do everything we can to avoid this, you may be asked to park in the top car park. Unless you're a dive school, please leave those long wheelbase vans at home!

• Children 16 and older are able to participate in swim activities at Vobster Quay. They will need their own registration on our booking system (including completing all terms & conditions) and will need their own email address to register and book sessions.
• Children aged 14 - 15 can be left by the water's edge. 14 year olds can also look after one other (sensible) younger child aged between 10 - 14 (subject to good behaviour). They can also be used as spotters for paddle boarders.
• Children aged 10 - 13 cannot be left alone at Vobster Quay. They must be supervised by a non-participating adult or child aged 14 or older at all times.
• Children under 10 and mobile are not allowed at Vobster Quay under any circumstances. This includes toddlers even if they are asleep / in a chair etc.
• Very small children who are not yet walking and secured in a pushchair are welcome but should be monitored by a non-participating adult.
